My little girls wanted to try Indian food for the first time. They whole family was very happy with our experience. I was very impressed by our meals. My lamb phaal was delicious with a huge amount of heat! If you’re a lover of the hot and spicy this dish is definitely the one. Both of my kids got the chicken tikka masala, which had so much flavor. For there first time trying Indian style of food, they definitely want to come back. Didn’t have any room for dessert, but looking at pictures of other google reviews I am going to save room next time to try some. Where I live there isn’t any Indian restaurants. The 45 min drive is totally worth it! Thank you for the great service and meals.
Truly one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. The food is so fresh, tastes amazing, and cooked to perfection. The Malai Kofta was my absolute favorite. Also, as a gluten free vegetarian there were a TON of options for me which is extremely rare. Not only is the food insanely delicious, but the service and atmosphere is superb as well. As soon as you walk in, it smells amazing and the environment and ambiance is very relaxing. They truly want you to have as enjoyable dining experience as possible and checked on us multiple times to make sure we were enjoying everything. If I didn’t live 3.5 hours away i’d be here at LEAST once a week.
Best meal of my life. Textures and flavors were spot on. Staff provided perfect service, and the ambiance was elegant & relaxing. See for yourself! I don't know why anyone would go to any other restaurant in Saratoga while Karavalli still stands.
Good space, nice service. The menu has everything standard for Indian cuisine. Tandoori chicken was decent, a little dry. Curry was great. The nann bread is the least exciting, not very fresh but was warm.
Great Indian food, great service, and a great value. Can't complain about anything here. They really work hard. It's an interesting place because for one thing, Saratoga is extremely white. Not many good ethnic places. And most of the other places in Saratoga are way overpriced for what they are. It pains me to say, but restaurants like The 99 are often the better values in this town. Hard to imagine. But the very few places like Karavalli are excellent and deserve your business.
I love this place. Definitely a repeat customer. First time I went was Valentine’s Day and it was fantastic. We have been going ever since and it is truly a great experience every time. They always make us feel welcome and comfortable trying new things on the menu. Thank you!
Excellent service and food was delicious.
We got chicken tandoori, chicken korma, and lamb saag for entries. We also tried their tamerand eggplants which was very good but small portion.
One thing to note: their mild options have 0 spice level, so if you like a tiny bit of heat, maybe try medium!
The staff at this restaurant is so kind and willing to accommodate our party of 9! They offer many vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, and gluten free options. The food is great, the environment is calm, highly recommend!
